BIG NEWS...

Ben and Leah are ENGAGED!!!! Leah was totally surprised!!! Ben took Leah to the sunset downtown Naples and got down on one knee just as the sun setting:) Leah said she was completely taken a back but of course said yes! After that they headed to dinner at a favorite restaurant downtown Naples Bellini's. The whole restaurant celebrated with the two lovebirds serving champagne to everyone and singing "That's Amore". Leah said she was waiting to wake up the whole time thinking it was a dream. Back home we were anxiously waiting for them to come home so we could celebrate more. Leah has been a part of our family for a long time now but to know its forever now is wonderful:) So excited for LaLa to be my sister she completes the family! We all love her so much! Nice work Benny Boy.

Got to Love Fridays

Today was in the low 60's but beautiful and sunny! Jack was a doll today! I like guessing who he looks like more...I think it changes daily. What do you think?

Dad got home today which was great! Still waiting on Mike to get in tonight then our family will be complete down here! Like I mentioned Jack was precious today but of course we had to have a little "Jack Attack". Dad was trying to tell him that he can't be so spoiled anymore, he has to sleep on a bed not ALWAYS a person! This is the "Jack Attack" episode that took place all within 10 minutes. Totally normal.

Ben and LaLa Arrive

Ben and Leah got in late Wednesday night (yes Mr. Pig likes to greet us all)! It is so fun to have them down here I just hope that the "Jack Attacks" don't ruin their vaca. Dad got down here to but he headed up to Orlando again to be with his family for a couple of days. Mike finally gets down here tonight and will be here for 10 days! Can't wait! It will be nice to have everyone together since we missed out on our annual Christmas trip this year.
Jack has been adjusting pretty well to the Florida life. We walk, we nap, we walk, we play, we nap, we usually cry about his time, and then we go to bed.

Things for the most part are getting much better with his colicky attacks. HOWEVER, tonight when everyone was at the Club enjoying cocktails and apps Jack was giving me a run for my money! I texted Mike that Jack was going to be an only child. It is so hard when he is inconsolable, I know that this is what I signed up for but it is a challenge. I was singing to him, rocking him, trying to feed him, doing airplane with him, and numerous times he just starred in my eyes and screamed at me. Who knows why. I think it is a mix of the colic, growing, teething (because he drools a ton), and maybe he is getting my cold (pray he isn't). My Mom then came home and took over for me. She finally got him to calm down and go to sleep. Thank you Mom for letting me have a peaceful dinner! Ah she is an angel! Of course he was extra cute at night and early this morning so I can't stay frustrated he is to darn sweet and I just love him too much! Mom says God is building up my patience.
Today we are going to try and get some birthday shopping for Ben done! Wish us luck!

Happy 26th Birthday Taylor! I wish I could celebrate with you like last year:) You are such a thoughtful, sweet, and caring friend always there when I need you the most! I hope this year all your wishes come true because you deserve it! Jack wants to give his baby whisperer a big sloppy kiss! Love you lots Tay I have been blessed to have you as such a fabulous friend for so many years!
