My little loves! Sweet Big Brother was doing his best to coax out a smile from his Little Sister! Jack at 3 years old and Lucy 5 months and 3 weeks old! 

Lucy Hope: 5 Months Old

 

Lucy Hope Postma, spending your 5th month as part of our family in Florida was so much fun! Big milestones this month: you are eating like a champ, trying to sit up on your own, got your first two bottom teeth, you chatter up a storm, and you have become very grabby. Still not a great sleeper and nursing 6 times a day with 3 meals of food. You love to put your toes in your mouth and when you get excited you do this whole body stretch and squeal it always makes me laugh. You are in the 50th percentile, wearing 3 to 6 month clothes, and a size 2 diaper. Traveling with you was very easy because your a little snuggle bug. Your personality is taking form and a sweet little diva is starting to come out. We love you little baby girl!

Jacky Bear in Florida at 3 Years Old

We potty trained right before heading to Barrington for Christmas and Jack had never slept in a big boy bed before our winter holiday in Florida. After we mastered those two challenges, like middle of the night accidents and trying to get you to go bed without being confined, Florida was much more relaxing! Jack loved the pool, eating dip on the beach at sunset, hunting little dinosaurs (aka chameleons), morning and evening runs, shopping trips at the mall with fountains, glow sticks at night, and playing ball in the side yard. Dora the Explorer and VeggieTales on the iPad were before bed favorites, and many hours were spent in the lanai playing cars. Absolutely love that as Jack gets older he can appreciate Florida more and more!
