Settling In

It was a sad day yesterday, we had to drop Mom off at the airport:( I cried pulling away, I totally felt the same way I did when they dropped me off at college. Sad but excited. It will just take sometime to get used to the distance. But we are going to plan lots of trips to see them, and I am so happy that they like our new place and want to come visit us too:) Mike and I were so thankful Mom stayed to help us this week, it was pretty stressful moving and we got so much done with her! She was a little worker bee...and made great meals and fresh baked cookies for Mike when he got home. MarBear left some cookie dough in the fridge too and told me I needed to make fresh baked treats for my hubby more often...I think he really liked that lesson! I love our new backyard! The pictures of the bushes are for my oma, they are all rasberries! I'm very excited about this, as nerdy as it is!
