Christmas Day 2012

Lucy's 1st Christmas and Jack's 3rd Christmas! Jack was ecstatic when he saw all the gifts that Santa left him under the "Florida House Christmas Tree". Jolly old man must have made it in through the Lanai. It was the year of Cars and Toy Story. Little Lucy was happiest with the bows.

Since we were spending Christmas in the sunny weather we did our best to stay outside. Walks, pool, and golf for the boys.

The Pranke family came over for Christmas Day dinner steaks. We finished off the night with the tastiest chocolates ever from Woodferd Reserve.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FRIENDS & FAMILY!

Christmas Eve on the Beach

Christmas Eve day started with a trip to Coconut Pointe Mall in hopes to see Santa. We found him, and he was the sweetest Santa ever (taking naps in between kids). Jack asked for Buzz Light Year and Lucy just giggled up a storm. I can not get enough of these two cuties.

After Santa time we did some shopping at the Disney store, where Jack made out big time with Cars. He's probably asking himself whats the big deal with Santa when you have parents that buy all the fun things on the spot.

Lucy's 1st Christmas! She is just the sweetest happiest baby ever. Such a love bug at 5 months old.

Christmas Eve church service was on the beach again. The message was a little "radical" this year, in the past it was very tradition. But the weather was beautiful and the sunset breathtaking. Truly unique and special to worship and give thanks on the beach.

Jack was in heaven and it was a fight to get the little man in the car. Neither child had napped much all day, so as soon as the key was in the ignition they were out. Mike and I couldn't join the group for dinner, instead we stopped at Whole Foods for our favorite pizza and a bottle of Stags Leap. Jack did wake up for a reading of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" on the iPad. The rest of the evening was spent wrapping presents transported down from Louisville and watching "It's a Wonderful Night", my all time favorite movie. Christmas time as Mom is so much fun! Jack couldn't wait until morning!
