Jacks First Swim
This little man LOVED the pool! He was kicking those big feet and had a huge smile on his face. Jack was more unsure of the hat than anything else:) We need to do this everyday with him to get out some of that energy!

Oma's Visit!
So wonderful to have Oma here with us for a whole week! Just the girls and Baby Jack. Boy was he spoiled... he had the undivided attention of three generations of ladies! Every morning when Jack woke up and Oma would take him and sing to him out on the patio, it was so cute and Jack just loved it! We had a great dinner every night, took long walks, and wonderful conversations. Made two trips to the strawberry fields, there were to many gorgeous berries to be picked.
I hope that every year we can have an annual "Oma Trip"!

3 Months Old
Happy 3 Month Birthday Jacky Boy!
You are such a JOY!
Jack you are starting to talk and sing to us all the time now which is way too adorable! You smile us all the time and make funny faces when we make funny faces. Your hands just amaze you and you want to get those suckers in your mouth. And my do you kick those little legs! The mobile still makes you giggle every morning when you wake up, and you love the bath but are starting to make a mess with all of your splashing.
Traveling with you is a breeze THANK YOU for that Jack. At only 3 months you have already been to Milwaukee, Naples, Orlando, Atlanta, and Birmingham. The colic is so much better!!! It's funny because now our days are so fun I can't even remember what the tough days were like. I suppose God designed us that way so Moms would have more kids:) You love walks and even shopping now!
Not sure how much you weigh right now because we don't have a scale here, but I can say that my arms are getting good muscles from carrying my little bear around. I would say you are 16 lbs. Still have a great appetite and only nursing you. Yesterday you noticed the Food Network on the TV and started laughing. You are a monster drooler so we figure you are starting to teeth. You are growing out of your 3-6 month clothes very quickly and are on to size 2 diapers.
You still wake up like 3 times during the night, and at 5am you just start yapping away. Right now you still look more like your Mom but have your Daddy's big blue eyes. Can't wait to see all the changes that this month brings!

Sunday Brunch with the Boe's
What a fun Sunday! Nancy and Dan Boe came to visit us today. We love them:) Mike had to make a few extra circles with Jack in the car until he feel asleep, but then we actually enjoyed a very nice brunch at the country club and Jack didn't make a peep! Sara we missed you, but I made sure to put Jack in his cute little Polo outfit from you.
Tonight Mike and I had are first "date" since Jack. We headed out to Doc's for a sunset and beer but it was so windy, I even wore my running tights under my jeans. That's right I wore ling underwear in Florida! It's crazy because this afternoon I laid out for about 20 minutes and it was gorgeous. Anyways, we went inside and ordered a pizza to bring home to everyone which you have to wait like an hour for, so it was nice to just sit and chit chat with Mike. We have some big changes that may be happening and it was nice to talk through things together. Love that guy:) Today was a perfect end to a long week.

Oma's Here!
Oma got here Saturday night and will be here until next Saturday! We are so excited! If three ladies devoting their full attention to Jack can't make him happy I don't know what can:) Really Jack has been so much better. When he is happy boy is he happy! Our problem is still that he does not want to give into sleeping. Little stinker. Love that little stinker though! Can't wait to spend a whole week with Oma!

Grandma Josie
On Monday March 1st my Dad's Mom passed away, My Grandma Josie. She was 77 years old but for the last 2 years she had been in and out of the hospital. Grandma Josie was a strong believer so while this time has been very sad for the family we can have peace that one day we will all see her again. I will always remember my Grandma Josie's love for her family, animals, and flowers. And she was the lady who taught me the importance of being "fancied up". My parents. Mike, Jack and I headed up to Orlando Wednesday afternoon to be with the rest of the Rinker clan. Everyone came in which was so special. I love seeing that side of the family and don't get to do it nearly as much as I would like to. We all laughed, ate, drank, and celebrated Grandma Josie's life together. Jack was amazing with all of the traveling. It was so fun for him to meet the Rinker gang and all of the girls were so helpful I wish I lived closer to them! Grandma Josie we will miss you but we will see you again!

27 Yrs. Old Sounds Like An Adult!
When I was younger I always thought that once you turn 27 years old you are and adult, not sure why that number stuck with me but it did. I told my husband that "thought" of mine this morning and he laughed! It was a good first birthday as a Mom! Mike took me shopping for my birthday present which was a treat. Jack was very well behaved which was also a treat. The whole family headed to the sunset and then MarBear had the table all decorated so sweet for my birthday dinner. Then she made these unbelievable rice krispie/chocalte/peanut butter treat and they tasted just like my favorites at JP's in Holland. All of the phone calls from friends and facebook messages sure made me feel loved. Sara Boe even sent me a card in Florida! It was such a nice birthday with the people I love very much:) Hmm...what is this year going to bring!
