Cabin Fever

This Mom has serious cabin fever, going on sick day #4 for Jack, and we haven't left the house. The frigid temps make it less enticing to leave our little home and just stay toasty by the fire. I feel just awful for Jack, he seems better, than worse again. This has got to end soon!!! I want to cuddle with him so bad, but little Lucy is teething and has her first cold, she will not get off my hip without a blood curdling cry...which really is getting at Jacks nerves. Preppy worked from home yesterday as I came down with a bit of the bug, it was awesome having him here so we could each give one of the kids major one on one TLC. So many of my girlfriends are home battling these long sick days at home, wish I was closer to them, misery loves company. One thing I am very thankful, a potty trained Jack, this thing would be a lot uglier otherwise. A months worth of winter holiday luggage has been removed from their bags but lay in their designated rooms in piles. Laundry from holiday is still not done as the sick clothes took precedence. And this whole house needs a deep clean, Preppy said he wishes we could zip the house in one of those microwaveable steamer bags. Ha. Until this bug breaks we will be watching Veggie Tales, sipping Gatorade, lathering up the Vicks Vapor rub, nosefrida-ing away, and burning my favorite Anthro candle so the house smells germ free.
