Spring Break: 4 Generations

God answers prayers. Back in January Oma had a stroke, this active healthy woman was not at all a candidate for such a thing. Such an example of how to take care of yourself and how to age with grace and beauty. Oma made a full recovery and 2 short months after her stroke she made the trip down to Florida and we got to spend the whole week with her. What a blessing! A 4 generational spring break is quite the blessing and I am fully aware at how spoiled I am to have not only a Mom that loves my kids like her own, but also an Oma who has given them her heart. I will cherish the memories of coffee on the lanai, long wagon walks, cooking dinner together, her sweetly singing to Lucy, all of her wise counsel, reading Jack stories and being the chosen potty chatter, and curling up on the couch watching Dowtown Abbey. Thank you God for answered prayers.

I couldn't wait to have a daughter so I could have a pic just like that with my mom and Grandma....unfortunately my Grandma passed away from cancer when I was 22 wks pregnant with my baby girl. I'm sure you will cherish that photo forever :) Lucy is such a gorgeous girl!!
