Friday we celebrated the Cubs Home Opener, a little disappointed in the loss, but we still love you Cubbies. The UPS man delivered Jack's tshirt 10 minutes before game time, I was sure it was going to bring good luck!!!
Friday night after some park time we headed down the street for a family date night. Sometimes the greatest treat is just to not have to worry about what to feed my boys, and not have to get the kitchen dirty:) I love cooking, usually more than going out, but Friday night the break was needed and appreciated. Dinner only took 45 minutes, which I think is the max for "good behavior" at the table by Jack. After dinner it was bath time and a little mirror time for Bear. He loves looking at himself...in his birthday suit.
Saturday we did Costco & Publix, park, and train park.
Sunday morning I did housework while Mike took Jack for a long walk. Then we headed to the Summit so Jack could play in some water fountains. Mike played golf that afternoon and Jack napped for almost 3.5 hours! Insane. I didn't know what to do with myself! I laid out in the backyard a little bit, worked on some things for the shower I am throwing this upcoming weekend, but finally the silence was killing me and I woke him up:) Then we played in the yard and grilled.
That is Jack's lounging pose. Ham. This was a super uneventful post I know. But I have to document the uneventful but lovely moments of our life too!
