Pumpkin Patch Trip 2

80 degrees and sunny at the end of October, what else was there too do but head back to the Pumpkin Patch. AKA the farm and let Jack run out all of his wiggles. Mimi was also visiting and last year she loved it so much she requested another trip out there this year! Then sweet Mrs. Carpenter even told us she would drive in from Lexington and meet us there. Score for this Mama, two grandmas to help out!

It simply was a gorgeous fall day. Mom and Mrs. C rocked Lucy on the front patio and caught up like old friends do, while sipping on coffee and munching on fresh apple cider donuts. Jack had me running all over that farm, this time we did the corn maze, he was amazed and was trying to harvest it himself by "shucking".  No Preppy did not teach him how to do this, he learned it from one of his favorite Modern Marvels episode that he requests to watch almost daily on harvesting. Of course I wanted to get some posed pictures of Jack with the pumpkins, nearly impossible these days.

All in all it was the perfect way to enjoy the unusually warm Midwestern fall weather. The only way I could get Jack to leave the farm was with a bribe of blackberry candy corn.
