High Five

We have been working on Jack's High Five Skills:

Tonight I made OAK-rAH for the first time. It was a side dish to our beloved flank steak and blue cheese salad. I am including the recipe because I really liked it and everything I just write down I tend to lose, but if I blog it then it is in one place! My Northerners try it out! I know Eurofresh sells them!

Sauteed Fresh Okra and Tomato Salad
1/2 lb fresh okra
1 large garden tomato chopped up or 10 grape tomatoes, split lengthwise
1 garlic clove, minced
Juice of half a lemon
salt 'n' peppa

1 Trim ends of okra and cook over medium high heat until bright green and slightly softened.
2 Throw in the tomatoes and garlic, and squeeze lemon juice into pan and mix all together.
3 Season with salt and pepper and serve!

You know you want to try it! Ahhh High FIVE!
