I call Jack my little Bear because he constantly wants to be held and curls up on me like a little bear cub. Plus the kid loves to eat and since he can't really figure out what to do with his hands he bats at his cereal with his paws. Anyways maybe the nickname will stick maybe it won't:) I never had a nickname growing up but I always thought they were so cute.
Jack is now needing to be entertained, he gets so bored with his same old toys. I packed some in our suitcase but obviously we aren't at home so we don't have that big of selection, or that chance to go to my Moms house where she has like 10 times the amount of toys! Jack plays for like 30 minutes in his play pen that Mike drove down here since it is acting like a crib. His new thing is he puts everything on his face!
We walked down to the mall today stopped in the Gap (30% of days) and then went over to Pottery Barn Kids to get Jack something new to play with. Let me just say that it is so hard to register before having a baby because you don't know what you will all need. I thought those activity mats were so silly so I didn't register for one, but Jack loves the one at my Moms, so I caved and bought one. As soon as I got that thing home (lugging it up numerous hills in the 85 degree afternoon sun) Jack played in it and then just dozed off! It was amazing!!!
After Mike got home we headed out to look at a house in Mountain Brook, the area we are currently in. It was nice BUT I love the Ross Bridge neighborhood, so I think that is the house we are going to go with! We stopped at the Whole Foods (the nicest one I have been too I love it!) to get a pizza for dinner, it was so crazy busy because they weren't charging tax for "tax day". If you haven't tried a Whole Foods pizza DO!
While Mike and I were enjoying our pizza Jack was enjoying his chubby little fingers!
I have been feeding Jack rice cereal, I feel like he is getting bored with it. I can't wait to start him on Veggies and Fruits! Any Moms send me your tips!

Glad he is liking his cereal and finally sleeping well! We started Bradley on fruits and veggies and he loves them!! I only give them to him once a day right now, around 6. I was hoping it would help him sleep through the night, but no such luck:( Glad you guys found a house, it looks nice, and the area looks beautiful!
