Life has just been, well CRAZY. To make a long story short while were in Naples Mike got an awesome promotion from Marmon, but the job is in Birmingham Alabama. We made a quick weekend trip with Jack while we were in Florida and after lots of talking and praying decided that the opportunity was something that couldn't be turned down. I am very proud of Mike! Anyways we packed Mike up and he drove down here to start April 1st. I will be back in Palatine until the condo sells or the end of June, which ever comes first. At least that is the plan for now, but one thing I have learned lately is "I" can't really make plans! Mike will be commuting back and forth on the weekends to see us as Marmon is putting him up in a furnished apartment.
Jack and I decided to come down to Bama this past Monday and will be staying until Friday April 23rd. This will give me a chance to learn more about the place I will call home for the next 2 years and to hopefully find a house. At this time we are looking to rent as we still have the condo, we just hope we find something we love! I have to say that so far I am enjoying the place, 80 and sunny each day and just a short walk to the mall! Yes the apartment is basically at the mall, my hubby is good to me:) Jack and I make our way there during the afternoon. Plus I am loving it to have Mike home at night! What a treat:) We will miss our family and friends so much, but we know that we are following Gods path for our family, there are too many things that have happened that show us this is "His" plan for us. This will be a test for us as a family but will only strengthen us in the end.
