Love Lazy Sundays

There is nothing like a sunny relaxing Sunday at home!

The girls came out from the city to visit with Jack, they are such good friends always making the special trip out to see my little man (and me:). Jack has a private pool at my parents, that is a small blue plastic pool. But the backyard is pretty private so Jack gets to run around in his birthday suit. I get a little frustrated when people come to see Jack and he waves to them and then is off running around. At what age will he start playing more with adults? I know everyone understands but I just feel bad. Lolo brought her pup Ozzie to visit with the yorkies. They all got along so well but were full of energy running around the yard and chasing chipmunks. We all just sat around the pool sipping on some raspberry mint iced tea and soaking up the sun:)

I don't know what I would do without these girls. They always have the right things to say and are always there when I need them! Thank you for keeping our friendship so close even though I moved so far!

They newlyweds came over for dinner and we ran around the backyard trying to catch fireflies. Does anyone else love that part of summer? I always remember them coming out right before the 4th of July and lighting up the backyard. Our mason jar wasn't prepared so weren't successful keeping any. But the hunt was fun. Jack can now say "Lala" and Ben is "Bo". He loves being the center of attention for those two. Love them for being so patient with him (ie tolerating the temper tantrums and abrupt mood changes:).

Summer night back home are just so peaceful... the way I have always remembered them.
