29th Birthday

Last year on my birthday I declared to Mike, "I won't have any issue with turning 30 years old". Not sure about that anymore because I had an issue turning 29 years old! I think I like saying I am 27, that's a good age for life:) These days I have just felt old, tired, and frumpy. Maybe/hopefully it is just this pregnancy that is draining my energy and looks. With all of that being said I am so happy with where I am in life at 29 years old! I've got Preppy for life, my Jacky Bear, a little girl on the way, great friends, and a family that we love to spend time with! I couldn't have planned things out better myself; even with all of this moving I will still say that.

My sweet hubby planned for us to be with the family in Barrington. We love birthday celebrations in my family and Preppy has embraced it. It just isn't the same if I don't get to celebrate with my little brother, born 3 years and 1 day apart! Oma, Opa, Aunt Debbie, and Uncle Mike even made the trip down! Mom made her famous lasagna and carrot cake, we drank some Kentucky Bourbon, and played table topics learning lots of new/quirky things about each other. It was a perfect day and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the last year of my 20's!
