Picking Out Clothes

At 28 months Jack is very in to picking out his clothes. Thus far I have been strategic not to put anything in his closet that I am not a fan of, finding cute preppy little boys clothes has become a bit of a hobby.  In his closet we do not have the typical play clothes, I have too much fun having him dress up like his Daddy. However some sports paraphernalia (Packers, Cubs,  Michigan, and Alabama) have crept in to his wardrobe and there are days that he only wants to wear his teams.

But lately Jack is very into his "horses" (aka Polo). It is funny and sad that at 2 years old he already has brand recognition. We were shopping at GAP yesterday and I asked it he wanted a little button down with a bear on it, he said, "No Mama Horse". Hmmm okay little boy we are going to have to get over that one. Anyways, it is fun to give him the choice in the morning and lead him a little in the right direction, sometimes he wants the top and bottom to be the same color.

He is growing up too fast! Love watching him learn new things and become more independent, but at the same time I want him to stay my little boy that needs his Mommy!

I know he is not a girl, but I can still teach him this life lesson right!?!?!
