Wish Our Toes Were in the Water...

All day Jack has wanted to go to the "Beach", and boy do I wish I could take him. At 28 months the kid is crazy with energy. Obviously we are approaching the Terrible 2's. Jack is great when occupied and you are doing what he wants, like playing outside or giving him undivided one on one attention. But when you are trying to actually get things done it turns into pure chaos with consistently testing his limits. And us.

You can just see the little wheels turning in his head like, " I wonder if this time she will let me climb through the clothes racks like a jungle jim ripping things off of hangers". The answer is no. And yes little man I will drag you out screaming while you dangle over my hip. With a stop to pay at the cash register first because I am not wasting a trip. That would just be silly. When in the world did the candy bribe stop working?!?! Jacky Bear would much rather run wild now instead of satisfy his sweet tooth. This Mom has serious respect for the ladies running errands with more than one child!

I know we will get through this.

So since we can't be at the Beach and let this wild man run I am improvising. Naples pictures on slideshow and I have stripped him down (because Jack likes naked best) and am letting him run around dancing to Jimmy Buffett while I sip on an Izze out of martini glass pretending it is something stronger.

Makes me smile remembering all of the Naples fun we had this year!

Finally got us all in there:)
