Derby Day & Cinco De Mayo

Jack has been excited for the Derby for quite some time now, I have to record him saying "Derby" because it is way too cute. If you ask him where we live he says the "Kentucky Derby". We are getting into this whole horse racing sport now, you have too if you live in Kentucky, so we were all excited that Derby day was finally here! After some gardening with Mimi we all picked our favorite horse and watched the most exciting two minutes in sports! Mimi was the big winner with I'll Have Another (cute the horse is named that because the owner always wants another one of his wife's cookies). Too bad we weren't at the race so Mimi could have won big time, next year! After our own little Derby excitement we went on to celebrate the next holiday of the day, Cinco de Mayo, at the Club. Way too much good food...baby girl was well fed tonight. Another fun day in the books!
