Jack's First Birthday: Day

Jack's first birthday completely caught up with us! It seems impossible that my little baby is 1 year old already. There is so much of him that is boy but also so much of him that is baby. 

We started off the big day with Jack's favorite waffles and opening the gifts that Mimi & Papa sent to Bama (but together the night earlier by Michael). He was very excited about both the Hoop and the Cozy Coup! 

After Daddy went to work we watched some Mickey Mouse and played. Went for a quick walk and realized it was way to cold to go to the zoo like planned. So we went shopping:) I told everyone that commented on how cute you were that it was your first birthday. 

After nap time we had some buddies over for a birthday party (pics on another post). After the party we some yummy dinner and opened more presents! Lots of fun gifts from friends and new radio flyer from Mom and Dad. We got to Skype with both sets of grandparents which was so much fun! After a bath it was time for bed. 

Thank you everyone for all of the cards and gifts that you sent! It one feeling to know that you are loved, but to know that those same people love your child is simply amazing. Greatest gift. Thank you!
