Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July everyone! This was our first 4th of July not spent with the family back in Barrington or at the Lake. We missed some of our traditions like the parade, brat tent, and fireworks at the normal venues. However, we had a great day in the 105 degree Kentucky heat!

Tuesday night our new friends had a BBQ and Jack ran around like a little hot mess until 9:45pm. It was so much fun to catch up with the girls and let the husbands mingle. Wednesday morning Preppy and I got into "nesting" mode, it is amazing what you can accomplish when you are actually at home! We got in 2 different pool trips to total about 4 hours and then watched fireworks at the neighborhood country club. Jack loves fireworks and Lucy was dancing around too:)

It was a very sweet day with my handsome boys!
